Treatment of individuals and couples concerned with a wide range of relationship and sexual issues. Individual treatment related to sexual functioning, sexual orientation, sexual compulsivity, sexual abuse, sexual offending and gender identity.

Depression, stress management, anxiety, weight loss, parenting issues, personal growth, and psychological evaluations of those seeking bariatric( i.e. weight loss) surgery.Dr. Abrams is extensively involved in the community as a sexual health educator and spokesperson. For example, he teaches a popular Human Sexuality course at Samford University, develops sexual health curricula for the Alabama School of Fine Arts, frequently provides expert commentary for local television, radio, and print media on issues related to sexuality and relationships, and is often asked to speak about such topics at professional, corporate and community forums.
